The Western Style Grilling Competition pitted Dolinsky against other local celebrities trying to win best grilled steak honors. Dolinsky's own recipe impressed the taste-testers, earning him second place.
Second place was good for $2,500, which he is donating to the Chicago area Meals on Wheels organization.
Dolinsky is already tweaking his recipe to try and take the title next year.
