A Chicago man has developed a smart phone application for taxi riders that lets passengers rate the conditions inside the cabs.

Adam Saffro developed the Smelly Taxi phone app, which is available in Chicago and other cities. Users rate cabs on a scale on how they smell, how clean they are, and whether the driver is courteous and professional.

The Smelly Taxi app can be downloaded for free from Apple's iTunes store.
