When it comes to the White House, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel has "been there, done that," and is not planning to eventually run for president.

The mayor will be giving a speech at the biggest Democratic fundraiser before the Iowa caucuses on November 19 in Des Moines. That has fueled speculation he may be laying the groundwork for a run for the presidency in 2016.

When asked about running for president in 2016, Emanuel said: "No, never. Not interested."

The mayor will be supporting his former boss President Barack Obama in his re-election bid with other appearances but says he loves his job at City Hall.
