October 7, 2011

More than 1,700 U.S. troops have died in the war. One of the most recent is a solider from northwest Indiana.

Army Specialist James Butz, 21, was killed last week when his truck hit an improvised explosive device. His body was scheduled to arrive at the Porter County airport in Valparaiso at 11:00 a.m. Saturday.

A hero's procession into porter and Chesterton was planned after a private family service. Supporters are encouraged to show their support along the route.
