Survey: UofC 2nd-most expensive college in US

The University of Chicago is the second-most expensive college in the country, according to a new survey by Forbes magazine.

Forbes estimates it costs $57,590 a year to attend the school. That amount includes tuition, room and board, as well as costs such as books, computers and even transportation.

Sarah Lawrence in New York was ranked No. 1, with a cost of a little more than $58,000. The New School in New York, Washington University in St. Louis and Columbia University rounded out the top five.
