Charges were filed Friday against a man accused of using a sawed-off shotgun to rob people at CTA Red Line stations.

Sylvester Curry, 18, is charged with armed robbery.

Prosecutors say Curry robbed several people of their cell phones at the Loyola Red Line station as well as the Sheridan station early Saturday morning.

In each incident the victims were threatened with a sawed-off shotgun that was pulled from in a backpack.

No one was injured.
