Chicago snow: Flurries in the forecast?

November 9, 2011 (CHICAGO)

Heavy snow fell throughout the day in Wisconsin with four to eight inches falling west of Madison. A winter storm warning is in effect there.

Across the Chicago area, temperatures will drop from the 60s to the 20s, bringing some snow. ABC7 Meteorologist Jerry Taft said the flurries could fall in the next 24 hours, but they're not expected to amount to anything. The good news?

"Friday and Saturday, a little bit of sunshine is back in the forecast, and it will be mild over the weekend. The temperatures over the weekend jumping back to near 60 degrees ," Taft said.

But scattered showers are expected Sunday and Monday.
