Family and friends of Lance Corporal James Stack attended the graveside service. It was at Memorial Garden Cemetery in Arlington Heights.
Stack, a rifleman, died during combat operations in Helmand Province in Afghanistan.
He is survived by his parents, wife, daughter, sister, and grandparents.
