Police pulled over a purple Dodge Durango last Saturday morning on Interstate 70 near Highland, Ill. Troopers found 30 rectangular bundles sealed with electric tape inside a box in the car. Together the bundles contained $300,000 in cash.
The driver denied having any knowledge of the money. The money was seized and the driver was questioned and released.
The investigation continues.
