Google released a new Android app that allows tablet computer owner to digitally scan catalogs from more than 400 retailers, including William Sonoma, Macy's, L.L. Bean and Sephora. The catalogs include embedded product pages, videos and checkout platforms.
The app for the iPad was released earlier this fall. It is free at Apple's app store and the Android market.
