A grand jury Friday returned a five-count indictment against Robert Maday, who used to live in Elk Grove Village. He is now at Stateville Prison.
Two years ago, Maday was being transported from a courthouse when he disarmed two officers and took off.
Police say Maday carjacked two women and robbed a bank in Bloomingdale. He was arrested after a high-speed chase the next day.
