2 arrested in Wheaton break-in

December 28, 2011 (WHEATON, Ill.)

Neighbors noticed something suspicious Sunday afternoon and called police.

The burglary took place at a home in the 1600-block of East Indiana. The residents were away from the home during the burglary.

Police officers say they found the basement had been broken into through a window. Stolen items included three TVs and a cell phone, police said.

Some of the items were recovered, police say, and arrested were David L. Johnson, 25, and Sidney I. Barrow, 18, both of Wheaton.

Both suspects were charged with one count of residential burglary. Bond was set at $250,000 for Johnson and $10,000 for Barrow.
