Police in one southwest suburb are trying to figure out what caused a deadly crash that killed two men.

It happened Saturday in unincorporated New Lenox.

Three other men were injured when their vehicles crashed through a fence and struck an oil pipeline.

Posen firefighter Zack Orel was one of the men killed in the crash.

His brother-in-law released a statement Sunday saying, "Zack was an amazing man who lived life for everything that it is worth. He was a true leader in this family, who inspired all to strive for the best and take every opportunity in life."
