Mayor Rahm Emanuel was joined by dozens of Illinois mayors Thursday calling on state lawmakers to pass pension reforms.

Emanuel repeated his warning that if nothing is done, Chicago property taxes will have to be raised 150 percent.

The mayor of Danville said that more than 50 percent of his city's property tax revenue goes to pension costs.

On Tuesday, Mayor Emanuel testified about pension reform before a house committee in Springfield.
