Stevenson Expressway dog 'Rags' in quarantine

The small dog that stopped traffic on the Stevenson Expressway and Harlem Avenue for more than an hour Tuesday has a cut on its paw but should be OK.

The dog remains at an animal hospital on a 10-day quarantine because it nipped someone while trying to elude capture. That quarantine is required by Cook County to make sure the animal does not have rabies.

The Good Samaritan who took him to be checked out said he's calling the dog "Rags." Officials are still looking for his owner.
