The crash happened Wednesday evening near Lake and Pulaski.
Shortly after the crash, police released surveillance images of the car involved and they say that led to Davis turning himself in.
Davis now faces a series of charges, including leaving the scene of an accident.
He was also ticketed for driving on a suspended license.
