The partnership with Groupon Grassroots, the philanthropic arm of the online discounter, is called Kits for Kidz.
An $11 kit contains one year's worth of school supplies, and an $18 kit includes a backpack, as well. Both are available for purchase at www.groupon.com.
The kits will be administered to students at neighborhood festivals and back-to-school events.
The school supplies campaign goes until August 7.
More than 1,200 Kits for Kidz were donated last year.
