Highland Park police say 17-year-olds Joseph Mahoney and Joshua Norris are being charged with home invasion, burglary and possession of a firearm.
Police say someone entered into a home on the 3000-block of Parkside Drive Thursday morning. The person fled when residents confronted him.
No one was injured in the incident.
