Chicago triathlon results: Emanuel improves finishing time

Chicago's lakefront was a little busier than usual with people biking, running and swimming Sunday as the city hosted the 30th annual Life Time Tri-Chicago.

Thousands of athletes took part in the triathlon.

Sarah Haskins won the female professional division while Hunter Kemper took the male division.

Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel competed in the sprint distance. ABC7 Chicago is told in his age group, he finished 27th out of 124.

Mayor Emanuel clocked in three minutes faster than he did last year at one hour, 33 minutes and 46 seconds.
