Since January, five circuits in the state have applied, and indications are DuPage County will be the first in the metropolitan area to give this a try. The long-held arguments that this might be a detriment to justice seem to have fallen by the wayside; in fact, one defense attorney says it might actually help his clients because of the honesty and transparency the cameras inevitably bring.
