$6,000 reward in CPD stable break-in that hurt police horses

The reward for information related a break-in at a Chicago Police Department horse stable on September 16, 2012, has been increased to $6,000.

At least two horses were injured during the break-in at the CPD's mounted unit facility, located on the South Shore Cultural Center grounds. One suffered a cut to the leg; the other was sprayed with a fire extinguisher.

The reward is offered by the Police Chaplain's Ministry and Chicago Police Memorial Foundation. Anyone with information, call (312) 747-8382.
