MIT develops ouchless bandage

Is it better to rip off a Band-Aid quickly or slowly? The debate might be over.

A new bandage promises not to hurt, no matter how you pull it off.

Researchers at MIT and a Boston hospital say the new bandage could be a game-changer for pre-term babies who can have skin ripped by conventional bandages.

They work with a special glue that holds tight when moved side-to-side but comes off when pulled straight up.

There is no word on when the bandages will go on sale.
