Christmas Ship

The Coast Guard cutter "Mackinaw" is docked at Navy Pier. It's serving as this year's "Christmas Ship," and it's loaded with 1,300 Christmas trees. Cdr. Michael Davanzo, Commanding Officer of the ship, joined us live during our ABC7 News Saturday Morning to explain how the trees were being distributed to families in need.

There are also free, public tours of the Mackinaw on Saturday, December 1, from 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.
