With 36 seats, each show features two, 12-15 minute movie shorts from a variety of genres and is appropriate for all ages.
The seats at the theatre are 3 Degree of Freedom or DOF, which allows up and down, front and back, left and right movement in sync with the onscreen activity. All senses are awakened during the attraction as well, including feeling and smell, which is achieved by using a variety of environmental effects. These effects depend on the film's storyline, but can include smoke, fog, bubbles, thunder, storm, wind, rain, snow and more.
Ticket prices are $7 for adults and $6 for children under the age of 10. PIX 5D Cinema is located within Woodfield Mall, near Sears and Entrance 5.
