Slash will appear on Friday, July 5, on the Navistar stage at this year's celebration of ribs in the western suburb.
The Exchange Club of Naperville announced the rock icon's appearance in a press release Wednesday.
"Another icon to add to the list of great Ribfest performances" said Ribfest Chair Marty Walker in the release. "Each and every year we work hard to bring the best entertainment and this year is no exception."
Slash joins the other headliners for the 2013 Ribfest, which in include Styx on July 3, Casey James and Love and Theft on July 4, Rick Springfield on July 6, and Lynyrd Skynyrd on July 7.
General Admission tickets will be available for sale online beginning April 20.
Ribfest will be held July 3-7, 2013 in Knoch Park in Naperville.
All the proceeds from Ribfest go to support the elimination of Child Abuse and Domestic Violence.
