FEMA sent teams out to find people on Chicago's South Side who may have suffered flood damage during May's record rains.

They started out near 85th and Cottage Grove going door to door asking residents if they had anything to report.

Those who did could immediately apply for assistance. A FEMA spokesperson says the agency wants to make it as easy as possible for people to get help.
