A new stop was scheduled to open Wednesday at North Avenue and the Chicago River.
The boats will go from there to the stop at Madison near Union Station and Ogilvie. The ride will take about 20 minutes, and cost $4 one way. A 10-ride pass can be purchased for $24.
The first boat will depart at 7:25 in the morning.
This is the first water taxi expansion in four years.
