But now police need your help finding Chris Mansfield. Police say he should be considered armed and dangerous.
Henry Whitten was found dead last Thursday in his home after police were called there for a welfare check.
Whitten was a choral music teacher from 1971 to 2002 at Barker Middle School in Michigan City.
Police says the suspect, Mansfield, is 6-feet tall and weighs 190 pounds.
