Saturday night, an investigation is underway into the cause of the fire at 100th and South Commercial Avenue.
Flames and smoke tore through the basement as well as the walls of a former restaurant on the first floor.
Firefighters extinguished it quickly and no injuries were reported.
The City Department of Human Services is helping those who were displaced.
