Recipe for Deep Fried Avocado Fries

Difficulty: Easy
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 5 minutes
Serves: 2-4

Ingredients:

2 firm avocados, halved, pitted, peeled, and cut lengthwise into large wedges (8 per avocado)
1 cup flour
2 egg, well-beaten
2 cups panko breadcrumbs
Salt to taste
Sauces to serve for dipping: (i.e. chipotle mayonnaise, salsa, spicy ketchup, BBQ sauce, chimichurri, etc.)

Preparation:

1. Coat avocado wedges first in flour, then egg, and finally in panko. Make sure that they are well-breaded.

2. Cook in deep fryer set at 350° F. Cook in batches as needed until golden brown.

3. Remove from the fryer and put on a paper towel. Season with salt and serve immediately with assorted sauces.
