A small electrical fire in the Harris Theater in the Loop prompted the theater to cancel a performance Wednesday night.

The performance featuring the Hamburg Ballet at the Harris Theater, 205 E. Randolph, was canceled as a "precautionary measure," according to a theater spokesperson.

No one was injured in the fire, the spokesperson said.

The Chicago Fire Department could not immediately be reached for comment.

The troupe is scheduled for a second performance Thursday night.
