Garfield Park, located on the city's West Side, and the South Shore Cultural Center, located on the city's South Side, now offer visitors free high-speed, wireless internet.
The program is part of Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel's goal to make the city one of the most high-tech, connected cities in the world. The Wi-Fi is provided through a partnership between the city and Google.
