CPS seniors compete in culinary challenge

April 6, 2014 (CHICAGO)

Their challenge is create a two-course French meal from memory in two hours.

Each student prepared chicken with potatoes and dessert crepes with pastry cream and chocolate sauce.

The judges are chefs from Chicago's top restaurants.

They critiqued each dish's taste and presentation along with their organization, sanitation and techniques.

The event is put on by Careers through Culinary Arts Program.
