Phillip Horrell gets life in prison in Kankakee doctor's murder

April 16, 2014 (KANKAKEE, Ill.)

Horrell pleaded guilty in 2013 to stabbing Dr. Goldenstein to death . Dr. Goldenstein's wife, Betty, was critically wounded in the attack.

Horrell attacked the Goldensteins in their home less than 48 hours after he was released on parole from Dixon Correctional Center.
