CHICAGO (WLS) -- A 25-year-old woman was killed Friday after she was struck by two vehicles in a hit-and-run in Chicago's Austin neighborhood on the West Side.
A white SUV was traveling westbound in the 5000-block of West Washington Boulevard around 5:45 p.m. when it struck a black sedan that was headed eastbound on the same street, Chicago police said. Both vehicles then struck the woman who was crossing the street, police said.

Both vehicles then fled the scene.
The woman was taken to Stroger Hospital, where she was pronounced dead, officials said.
Police are investigating.
