4 injured, 3 critically, in mass shooting near Cook County Courthouse: Chicago police

Four people were injured, three critically, in a mass shooting near the Cook County Courthouse early Saturday morning, Chicago police said.

Officers responded to a call about walk-in gunshot victims at Mt. Sinai Hospital around 1:45 a.m.

A Little Village, Chicago mass shooting left four people injured near South California Avenue and West 27th Street early Saturday, police said.

The victims were sitting in a parked vehicle near South California Avenue and West 27th Street in the Little Village neighborhood.

That's when a male drove a dark SUV past the group, and people inside fired shots, police said.

At least 7 seriously injured in mass shooting in Back of the Yards, police say

At least seven people were seriously injured in a mass shooting on the city's South Side late Friday night, Chicago police said.

Police said officers responded to the Back of the Yards neighborhood's 4800-block of South Justine Street just before 11:15 p.m.

A Back of the Yards shooting injured 7 people in the 4800-block of South Justine Street on Friday. Police are investigating the Chicago mass shooting.

Two men walked up and started shooting into a crowd of people outside, police said.

All of the victims were hospitalized in serious to critical condition.

At least 19 people shot, 2 fatally, in 4th of July weekend gun violence: Chicago police

At least 19 people have been shot, two fatally, in gun violence across the city so far this Fourth of July weekend, Chicago police said.

ABC7 is tracking holiday weekend shootings from the morning of Thursday, July 3 at midnight to the evening of Sunday, July 6 at 11:59 p.m.

3 men shot in Englewood

Three men were shot Thursday afternoon on the city's South Side.

The shooting happened around 12:53 p.m. in the 1600 block of West 59th Street in Englewood, Chicago police said.

A 51-year-old man was shot in the goin and was taken to a hospital in critical condition, CPD said. Two men, ages 40 and 50, were also shot and taken to hospitals in good condition.
