Chicago 2016 to Host "Chicago Believes..."

Event highlights include:

4:30 p.m.: Demonstrations from Olympians, Paralympians and Olympic hopefuls in various events. Free seating available for 7,000 on the Millennium Park Great Lawn, who can purchase concessions or bring a picnic. Two Park Grill concession areas will be set-up on the east side of the Great Lawn, and an additional retail and concession tent will be located on the west side of the Great Lawn.

6:30 p.m.: A fundraiser dinner for ticketed guests will feature international menu offerings from some of the world's top chefs. Dinner tickets are available for guests starting at $500.00. There are limited seats available for the performance only for $100. Seats on the Great Lawn are free of charge.

8:00 p.m.: A variety show at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion will begin at 8:00 p.m. to celebrate great Chicago Olympic moments, and will include performances by members of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Bandoleros, Hubbard Street Dance, the Anti-Gravity Boots Team, a local gospel choir and Chicago's own world-class tenor Rodrick Dixon. Emcee Bart Connor will bring U.S. Beijing-bound athletes up on stage for a Chicago send-off.
