Lincolnwood bakery recalls desserts

December 27, 2010 9:39:39 AM PST
A bakery in the northern suburbs is recalling all its desserts made after November 1 because of a food poisoning outbreak.

Desserts from Rolf's Patisserie in Lincolnwood may be contaminated with bacteria that produce toxins.

The symptoms include nausea, vomiting, stomach cramps and diarrhea. The illness usually lasts one or two days, though in some cases it may last three days.

About 100 people in Illinois and Wisconsin have reported cases.
