Emergency meeting held in response to coyote threat

November 15, 2013 (CHICAGO)

An emergency meeting was held Wednesday evening about the coyote situation on Chicago's West Side.

A coyote may have bitten a 3-year-old boy in a park.

29th Ward Alderman Deborah Graham met with representatives from the Park District Animal Control and Streets and Sanitation to talk about the threat of coyotes.

Experts say that coyotes are usually harmless, as long as they are not fed by humans.
