Beans popular in economic downturn

An Indianapolis bean company says its business is jumping. N.K. Hurst ships 25 million beans to retail outlets throughout the country each year.

The company has seen a 13 to 15 percent increase in sales over the last year. It's hired more workers to help keep up with the demand. The company say beans are more popular now because they are a comfort food. They're nutritious and they're inexpensive.
