Car crashes with bus, 7 hospitalized

Seven people were hurt early Sunday when a car collided with a CTA bus on Chicago's Southwest Side.

The accident happened at approximately 5:15 a.m. According to police, a car was speeding and ran a red light. As it traveled south along Pulaski, it hit an eastbound Archer Avenue bus. The car then collided with another vehicle that was heading westbound on Archer.

The driver of the speeding car is hospitalized in critical condition. The six others were hospitalized also with injuries that were not life-threatening.
