Chris Kennedy mulling Senate run

May 5, 2009 (CHICAGO) Kennedy is President of Chicago's Merchandise Mart. He told ABC7 political reporter Charles Thomas that he is looking into running for the Senate seat next year, but he would not say when he would make a decision.

"I think it doesn't lend itself to a timetable. It's so personal at this point, and I found in my own life that personal decisions do lend themselves to a timetable," said Kennedy.

Kennedy said he will talk things over with his family before making a decision.
