Attempted child abduction reported

September 14, 2009 (CHICAGO) The girl said she was in an alley in the 7400-block of North Greenview when a man told her to get in his pick up truck. The victim told a person nearby, and the man fled, police say.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man with a mustache and dark complexion, 35 - 40 years old and driving a white pickup truck with a black stripe.

Police say the man was wearing a blue baseball cap and spoke only Spanish to the victim.
