New trial for Brown's Chicken murderer denied

A new trial has been denied for one of the men convicted in the Brown's Chicken restaurant murders.A Cook County judge rejected a motion Friday for a new trial which was made by james Degorski's lawyers. An appeal is expected.

Degorski is serving a life sentence for the murders of seven people at a Brown's Chicken and Pasta restaurant in palatine back in 1993.

Degorski's high school friend Juan Luna is also serving a life sentence for his role in the murders.
