Family members have come to Chicago from Los Angeles to try and find a woman's killer.

Last September 19-year-old Angelina Escobar and her boyfriend 24-year-old Alex Santiago were murdered.

Investigators believe the killer broke into their Albany Park apartment on West Sunnyside. Both victims died of gunshot wounds. The couple had just moved into the Northwest Side building a few months earlier.

Escobar's relatives have been passing out flyers hoping someone comes forward with information.

"We have to find out who killed her, we have to, we owe it to her," said Diane Lauletta, Escobar's mother.

"We talk about her all the time, we go back and forth, always trying to figure out who did it, looking for clues," said Marisa Campos, Escobar's sister.

Some drugs were reportedly found in the apartment but Escobar's family denies she had anything to do with drugs.
