Bail denied for Mich. militia members

A federal judge denied bail Friday for the eight suspected members of a Christian militia. The federal government says the group conspired to kill police officers.

During one raid in Ann Arbor, Mich. that led to the arrest of five militia members, federal investigators set up a phony memorial service. The FBI lured the five to a warehouse to attend the service to get them away from their weapons.

Nine people, in all, were arrested following raids this past weekend, including Whiting, Ind. resident Thomas Piatek.
