Miyaan Lewis was last seen on November 9, 2010 in the area of 11300 S. St. Lawrence, according to police. She was wearing a red and black jacket, green, white, and pink pajamas and Navy blue gym shoes. Police say she was carrying a black, pink, and green book bag.
Lewis is diabetic and in need of medication. She also suffers from seizures. Police say should could be disoriented, shaking or sweating. They also say she could appear to be under the influence of alcohol.
Police say Lewis' hand is disfigured and her thumb is paralyzed. She also has a dog bite on the left side of her face.
