March 10, 2011 (CHICAGO) --
At least one person is in custody Thursday morning after a shoot out involving Chicago police on the city's Southwest Side. It happened around 4 a.m.
Chopper 7HD was over the scene near 48th and Western.
Police say officers exchanged gunfire with several people in a vehicle that they were trying to stop.
No one was shot but several of the suspects were injured when the vehicle they were driving crashed a couple blocks north of the shooting scene.
So far no charges have been filed.
