Oprah to enter IL broadcasting hall of fame

Oprah Winfrey becomes a hall of famer this week.

On Tuesday, she will be inducted into the Illinois Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame.

ABC 7's Cheryl Burton will emcee the luncheon.

Winfrey came from Baltimore to Chicago in 1984 to host ABC 7's morning show, "A.M. Chicago."

In 1986, she launched the Oprah Winfrey Show.

After 25 years, Winfrey will leave daytime TV this month.
