Timera Branch is charged in the death of John Keyes the third in November of 2009.
In court, several witnesses, including a police officer, testified that Branch chased Keyes with her car as he tried to run away and rammed him into a building. Witnesses also testified they saw Branch's son 17-year-old Lacorbek Benion hit Keyes with a baseball bat after he was struck by Branch's car.
Benion also faces murder charges and will be tried separately.
